Chapter Seven: Returning Home

Arriving at Fairy Tail Guild Hall with a girl who had been missing for two years was something that had happened before with Lisanna so Lucy, Erza, Gray, Happy and Natsu knew how this was going to play out, it was only (Name) who was alternating between excitement and fear.

“It’s going to be alright (Name)” Lucy smiled placing a comforting hand on the older girl’s shoulder

“Let’s go see everyone” the (hair colour) girl weakly smiled “Here goes nothing”

“WE’RE BACK!” Natsu shouted slamming the door open, as most ignored the dragon slayer’s normal flair for the dramatic entrance, Mira Jane was the first to notice that it wasn’t only Lucy that they had brought back. This led to the silver haired mage run over to her best friend and embrace her in a hug

“Hey Mira, I’m home” the teleportation mage whispered to her friend as her (eye colour) eyes welled up with tears.

“Welcome home (Name)” Mira smiled as she let her tears fall. Seeing Mira – Jane run towards the doorway everyone else turned to the sight ahead of them

“(NAME)!!!!” Everyone called as everyone else started a celebration as everyone drank up and hugged the guild member, before having to dodge Erza’s sword and Mira’s glare when they interrupted a conversion or got to close for comfort.

“I’m finally home” was all (Name) said as Master Makarov hugged the taller girl as she continued to  cry upon her warm reception back into the guild.

Watching as (Name) laughed with Mira, Cana and Lucy as the rest of the guild were getting more and more drunk, Makarov smiled as his grandson’s girlfriend had been returned to the guild she belonged too. He just wished that all those days ago Laxus had controlled his temper and (Name) had found a different way to prove herself.

It had been over a year since (Name) had disappeared following her argument with Laxus and the blonde dragon slayer had continued to use all his spare time in searching for his girlfriend.

“Laxus it’s been over a year” Freed told his idol only to be hit by a blast of lightening

“LAXUS” Makarov yelled at his grandson, knowing that the blonde couldn’t keep attacking people for either mentioning the (hair colour) girl or her vanishing, before taking a softer tone “you miss her don’t you?”

“Of course I do you old geezer”

“Getting angry won’t change anything”

“It’s the reason she’s gone” the blonde said glaring at the floor as he played with a silver object in his hands

“What’s distracting you Laxus?” Makarov asked

“We were going to be happy” Laxus said “For a long time. Once I asked her”

“Asked her what?” the only response that was given was the guild master being handed the object that Laxus was fiddling with, a silver engagement ring.
