Chapter Five:

 

“Natsu slowdown will you” Gray yelled at the pink haired dragon slayer who had rushed ahead following Lucy’s scent

“We can’t wait, we have to get Lucy back” Natsu growled picking up his pace.

“Rushing into this isn’t going to get her back any faster and you are going to get hurt” Erza shouted as Natsu nearly ran into a tree “Like that”

“LUCY!!!!!!!!!!” Natsu shouted as he continued running ignoring his teammates and focusing on finding the blonde before anything happened to her

“Did you hear that?” Lucy asked the (hair colour) girl as they both woke up from the sleep spell cast on them.

“Hear what?” (Name) asked as she rubbed her eyes

“I thought I heard someone calling my name”

“I didn’t hear anything, you sure you weren’t hearing things?”

“I heard Natsu calling for me” Lucy said walking to the barricaded window “NATSU!!!”

“Lucy, no one can hear us in here” (Name) said “I yelled for days after I arrived here and no one came to help”

“They’ll come” Lucy whispered, not sure if she was convincing herself or the (eye colour) girl.

“You and Natsu a thing?” (Name) asked out of curiousity and as an attempt to distract the scared teenager

“What?! No, he’s just a friend”

“That’s what I used to tell Mira about Laxus and I before we got together”

“Natsu was the one who brought me to Fairy Tail”

“Laxus trained me”

“How’d you two get together anyway?”

“He got jealous and let it slip after frying a guy”

“I can’t imagine Laxus getting jealous”

“He’s adorable when jealous” (Name) giggled “Don’t tell him I said that, he hates it when I bring it up and when I tell the story”

“Tell me” Lucy grinned as she sat next to the chained woman

<< Four Years Prior <<

“Thanks for coming with me Laxus” (Name) smiled at the lightening dragon slayer

“I couldn’t leave you to fight a bunch Vulcans on your own” Laxus smirked playfully ruffling her hair

“Knock it off”

“Come on babe, relax will you”

“We need to find a place to rest for the night”

“There’s a couple of inns in town”

“Let’s go then” (Name) said walking ahead of the blonde “I refuse to walk back to Magnolia”

“Can’t you just teleport us back?”

“It’s too far and teleporting another person uses double the amount of magic power”

“What about to the nearest town?” Laxus asked

“Hold on then” the (hair colour) girl sighed looping her arm through his as a (favourite colour) magic circle appeared under the both of them before they disappeared from the woods and appeared in a small town “Now to the nearest inn, I’m sleepy”

“Come on then babe” Laxus flashed the (hair colour) girl his bad boy smile before picking the teleporter up bridal style and headed towards the nearest inn, ignoring the hits to his chest given to him by the smaller girl “You do realise that you can’t hurt a fly right?”

“Jerk”

“Want me to drop you princess?”

“I’ll stop hitting you then” (Name) mumbled sleepily resting her head on his shoulder before slowly drifting off “I hate teleporting other people”

“I know you do” Laxus sighed as he carried the dozing girl towards the inn and placing her on the bed of the room he was able to get (after convincing the elderly lady at the desk that he hadn’t kidnapped her). When (Name) woke up she was met with the normal sight of Laxus leaning back on a chair listening to music, deciding to have some fun the girl snuck over to the blonde “Not going to work princess”

“One of these days I’m going to scare you”

“Not gonna happen”

“You hungry?”

‘What?”

“I’m starving, you want to go get some food?”

“Fine” Laxus sighed, knowing full well that the (hair colour) mage could be more annoying than Natsu if she wanted something. After dragging Laxus to the nearest restaurant the two sat in a comfortable silence before the waiter came over and asked for their order

“You want to order anything?” the waiter asked flirtatiously to the female, (Name) just looked up from the menu

“(Favourite meal and Drink)” she smiled “Laxus what do you want?”

“Same thing” the blonde ground out, glaring at the annoying waiter who only had eyes for his guild mate.

“I’ll be back soon with your food then beautiful” the waiter said flashing the girl a dazzling smile before heading towards the kitchen

“You keep glaring at him and you may fry him” (Name) teased, Laxus stared at her before ‘tch-ing’

“He shouldn’t stare at you like you’re a piece of meat then”

“Laxus, you’re jealous”

“No I’m not”

“Yes you are”

“Drop it (Name)”

“Your name is (Name)?” the waiter asked coming back from the kitchen “That’s a beautiful name”

“Thank you” (Name) said slightly leaning back and away from the man who was getting a little to close for comfort.

“I’m on my break and want to know if you want to have a good time”

“Back off kid” Laxus snarled, little lightening sparks flickering around his headphones.

“Listen man, I’m talking to this babe right here”

“Laxus you’re sparking again” (Name) told the angering blonde “and I’m only here for tonight so I don’t have time to go out”

“One night is all I want” that was all the man said as he was hit by a blast of lightening, a completely terrifying Laxus standing over him before going to the girl and pulling her into his arms

“Mine” was all he said before giving the (hair colour) girl a forceful kiss and then pulling the blushing red mage back to the inn with a dazed look on her face and her fingers to her lips. It took the door slamming once the two were in their room before the girl’s daze broke and she spun to face the man who less than five minutes ago had kissed her.

“What the hell was that?!” she yelled at him before he kissed her again “Laxus I’m being serious”

“You’re mine (Name)” the blonde responded wrapping his arms around her waist

“Laxus” (Name) whispered staring into grey eyes “Do you love me Laxus?”

“Yes”

“I love you too Sparky” (Name) smiled standing on her tippy-toes and placing a sweet kiss to the dragon slayers lips

“That’s so cute” Lucy squealed

“How’d you join Fairy Tail?” (Name) asked the blonde female learning back against the bed pillows.

“Natsu helped me out a situation then dragged me to the guild”

“Sounds like something he’d do”

“Do you think we can get out of here?”

“Do you really think you heard Natsu earlier?”

“Yes”

“That boy won’t give up no matter what, if he’s out looking for you then he won’t give up. We’ll be just fine”

“I hope you’re right”

“So do I Lucy, so do I” (Name) said holding her companion’s hand, though she wasn’t sure if it was to comfort the younger girl or herself.
