Protect You

Chapter One:

“Thanks for helping me with this Lucy” Mira Jane said as she put three books back into the shelf,

“It’s fine with me, I needed a break anyway” Lucy sighed

“What’s wrong?”

“Natsu and Gray have gotten worse with their fights, the latest one has gotten ten times worse”

“That’s nothing to worry about” Mira smiled “they’ve been like that since they were kids. Erza, Master and (Name) were the only ones who could get them to stop fighting”

“Mira, who’s (Name)?” Lucy asked not having met anyone in the guild with that name, this question caused Mira to sigh quietly having realised her mistake.

“A former member of this guild”

“Former?”

“She disappeared two years ago on a mission” Mira said, before heading towards a large cabinet and pulled out a wooden box.

“Mira?” Lucy questions heading towards the model, “what’s that?”

“This is (Name)” Mira whispered taking a photograph out of the box holding it out to the blonde. As Lucy took it she saw a smiling (hair colour) girl leaning against a smirking blonde male

“Is that Laxus?!”

“This was taken not long after they started dating”

“They seem like an odd couple”

“They were, but he loved her and she loved him”

“You said she disappeared?”

“It was a mission gone wrong, she just never returned” Mira spoke, her normally cheerful face losing its smile at the memory of her missing friend. “Laxus got angrier after her disappearance and more withdrawn”

“Mira can you give me a hand?” a voice called, causing the blue eyed woman to look up towards

“Sure, Lucy will you be alright on your own?”

“I’ll be fine” Lucy smiles as Mira heads off to the bar. Walking over to the box Lucy saw that it was mainly filled with photos and paintings of (Name), mainly of her with Laxus and Mira occasionally with a younger Natsu and Gray.

“I wonder what happened to her?” the blonde asked herself as she shut the lid of the box.
